Princess Kiko expected to give birth on, near Sept.6
Princess Kiko, the wife of Prince Akishino, Emperor Akihito's younger son, is expected to give birth to her third child around Sep. 6 by Caesarean section, sources said Tuesday.
If the baby is a boy, he would be the first male to be born to the Imperial family in 41 years and would be third in line, after Crown Prince Naruhito and Prince Akishino.
Last month, Princess Kiko's doctors said she had symptoms of partial placenta (胎盤） previa （内見）, a condition in which part of the placenta (子宮） drops too low in the uterus. Her original due date was late September.
Imperial Household Agency official Yasuo Moriyama said the agency has not announced the date of delivery.
予定日は9月6日頃ということで、話が進んでいるようです。９と６の組み合わせは陰陽和合の形で、陰・陽の二気が合わさって万物を造化・創生することを意味するらしいです。タイなどの国の寺院でこの９と６が合体したマークを見ることがありました。ナイト・バザールのTシャツマークにもなっていたようです。そういえば、皇太子様と雅子様のご結婚は6月9日だったと、易に詳しい人が言っていたような気がします。
